Smog from peat fires, forest fires in Chernobyl zone cover part of Kiev

MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. Smog is observed in the northern districts of Kiev, the Strana online resource says, publishing relevant photos.
The phenomenon is attributed to peat fires in the north of the Kiev Region. A forest fire in the Chernobyl exclusion zone is mentioned as another cause.
There have been no official comments on air pollution yet.
